Dr. Pontefract currently teaches infectious diseases and pharmaceutical calculations in the integrated pharmacotherapy course. His practice site is located at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Medical Center where he precepts students on internal medicine rotations. Research interests include antimicrobial stewardship (inpatient and outpatient), infectious disease epidemiology, and implementation science.
